Helton Remodeling Services, LLC performed a complete transformation of this Westlake master bath including a full change to the bathroom footprint. The narrow bathroom was widened by moving the toilet room and consolidating the vanities to make room for new locations of the tub and walk in shower. Shiplap and encaustic cement tiles deliver the finishing touches on one of our best bathrooms yet this year.

This become one of our favorite projects of 2016. Cabinets were updated to a lighter tone, and custom cabinets were added on top of the existing cabinets. New countertops, appliances, floor tile, plumbing and electrical fixtures made this full remodel provide a whole new look. The archway that used to connect the kitchen to the living room was expanded to create a grand opening between the two. We also updated the fireplace facade in the living room. It was originally five feet tall, and is now extended two stories to the ceiling, and includes a custom mantle. New floors were added to serve as the hearth.

For this kitchen remodel, the customer wanted floating wall cabinets, and a whole new look for the space. To accomplish that, we added floating cabinets complete with accent doors to highlight some of their best glassware. We also updated the space with new countertops, refinished cabinets and new stainless steel appliances.

From design to completion, the following project took right around six months and was finished in the fall of 2016. This is a whole house remodel near the UT Austin campus. The homeowners were looking to completely renovate the space with the follow updates:

  • Floors
  • Paint
  • Kitchen
  • Master Bath
  • Secondary Bath
  • Powder Bath
  • Fireplace Facades
  • Stairs and Rail System
  • Front Door
  • Windows
  • Lighting
One of our main goals was to create a more livable experience for our homeowners. We moved the laundry from the first floor up to the second floor in the sitting room, which sits adjacent to the master bedroom. No more hauling laundry up and down stairs! The old laundry room was converted to a butler pantry complete with new cabinets and quartz counter tops. We also walled in the sitting room to create more privacy between that and the master bedroom.

Beautiful hickory floors were installed throughout the home and on the stairs as well. An office was added with beautiful panel molding and French pocket doors with glass. These doors were finished the same as the new front door.

The kitchen includes the same hickory floors, new cabinets, under cabinet lighting, new appliances and a beautiful travertine backsplash to finish it off.

Check out some of our before and after shots from the project!

Dream kitchens scratch an itch. This customer had several serious problems they asked us to address. First, the kitchen was extremely outdated.
With soffit ceilings, florescent lights, honey oak cabinets, Formica counter tops and old appliances, this kitchen screams the 1970's.
Second, the floor plan significantly limited what one can even do in this room.
Cooking zones are disjointed with very little counter top space surrounding the oven and stove.
The door adjacent to the back door is the only downstairs bathroom in the house. This offered very little privacy.
The doorway to the living room was small creating a lack of flow to the room. All of this had to change within a budget around $50k.

Aaahhh! Open space! The kitchen flows into the dining room allowing for casual entertaining.
Everyone can now fit in the same room for Thanksgiving.
The back door area was separated into a mud room by creating a wall to that side of the kitchen allowing for privacy in the restroom.
All new appliances, floors, counter tops, backsplash and cabinets give this kitchen a totally new feel,
and the design(created by Emory Lane Design) creates a functional fun place to entertain.

This client wanted to revamp the kitchen and the living space in this home.

The fireplace was surrounded by too much tile.

To tone down the emphasis on the fireplace, and bring more openness to the room in general, the tile was replaced with drywall.

In the kitchen, the cabinets were refinished and new floors and countertops were put in to help compliment the new lighter tones.
